SOCIAL WORKER II - MSW

POSITION NUMBER: 1937
BI-WEEKLY HOURS : 77.50

START/FINISH TIME: 0830 - 1645
PAY RANGE: AS PER AGREEMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters Degree from an accredited school of Social Work
• Post graduate training in specialized clinical/counselling services
• Active membership in MASW (Manitoba Association of Social Workers), MIRSW
  (Manitoba Institute of Registered Social Workers), required
• Two (2) to Four (4) years social work experience (post professional degree), in a health care setting
• Demonstrated clinical competence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact well with other health care professionals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Well developed team skills
• Ability to function autonomously

• Must be a member in good standing of the CAMRT
• Good knowledge of radiographic theory and practical
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to retain patient information on a confidential basis

A CURRENT CHILD ABUSE REGISTRY (CARC) CHECK IS REQUIRED (THE CARC IS CONSIDERED CURRENT IF IT WAS OBTAINED NOT MORE THAN SIX MONTHS PREVIOUS TO THE DATE OF APPLICATION)
