RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

POSITION NUMBER: N/A

POSITION: CASUAL

BI-WEEKLY HOURS: N/A

PAY RANGE: AS PER AGREEMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Successful completion of a degree/diploma from a recognized Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Licensed with Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists (MARRT), or registry eligible.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of various current and related software applications is an asset.
  • Recent respiratory therapy clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with professional staff at all levels.
  • Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
  • Mature, professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

PROTECTION SERVICES OFFICER - SECURITY

POSITION NUMBER: N/A

POSITION: CASUAL

BI-WEEKLY HOURS: N/A

PAY RANGE: AS PER AGREEMENT

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Grade XII or recognized equivalent
  • Successful completion of a certified Manitoba Security Guard Basic Training course that meets the standards/criteria established by the Canadian General Standards Board.
  • OR
  • Equivalent training and/or experience recognized and approved by the Manitoba Department of Justice.
  • A criminal records check and a child abuse registry check are required and must be submitted every three(3) years as a condition of employment.
  • No previous experience is required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to interact well with others.
  • Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
  • Must possess tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and good judgment.
  • Physically fit and able to stand/walk for long periods of time and run to urgent situations.
  • Physically able to restrain, detain or evict individuals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt readily to stressful situations.
  • Mature, professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
