St. Boniface Hospital has a core of 400 dedicated volunteers who provide over 47,000 hours of service to the hospital yearly.

Why volunteer?

You are looking for an exciting experience; you are looking for a way to get involved in the community; you want to meet new people; you want to help others or are considering a career in health care!

Who can volunteer?

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and able to commit a minimum of 60 hours (total) to apply. Students are welcome to join our Summer Student Program.

When can I volunteer?

We have volunteer positions available during weekdays, evenings and on weekends.

What will happen once I apply?

Once we receive your application, Volunteer Services will contact you to set up a meeting date.

What type of training will I receive?

Volunteer Services provides an orientation to all new volunteers which includes training on patient confidentiality, infection control, emergency codes and more. On the job training will be provided.
